Angela Akins Garcia was basically obscure prior to her wedding to Sergio Garcia, a sports legend, brought her into the limelight, thus info is scarce on the life events that took place prior to the time she got married the professional golfer. Angela Akins Gracia developed a passion for sports as when she was a child and eventually decided to play golf. As the years passed by the golfer became more proficient and completed more than eight tournaments as high school students. Garcia was captain of Mable Falls High School's high school team and led it to 3rd in regional competition in 2003. They finished sixth in the year 2006, being the 6th-placed team. Even though she experienced joy and fulfilment as a golfer Angela Akin Garcia never dreamt of pursuing golf professionally instead she chose journalism. When she graduated from university she landed a job as a reporter for Fox Sports Southwest.
